The search to integrate graphic, industrial and architectural design in spaces, makes that in 2001, Penélope de la Madrid Garibaldi founded her own laboratory: Ábaka Interiores, as a multidisciplinary creative team, designing spaces that communicate and generate sensations, breaking with traditional interior design schemes.

The design of environmental concepts tells stories, communicates feelings and memories, putting the human experience as a starting point. Ábaka Interiores creates experiences to feel, spaces that surround all the senses and that deliver the message through sensations, memories and desires.
